I painted this today for my boyfriend. Told him I’d paint him something, and I did. I based it kinda on the whole “red string of fate” idea from Japanese tradition. When you’re born an invisible red string is tied to your finger. The other end of this string is connected to the one you’re destined to marry, and you follow that string throughout your life. 

If I hold true to this myth, then I’m sure that one end is on my finger and the other is on his. <3
